Welcome to GForge!
GForge is an Open Source collaborative software development tool, which allows you to organize and manage any number of software development projects. It's perfect for managing large teams of software engineers and/or engineers scattered among multiple locations. This is UCSC's instance of GForge.
Feel free to create class or UCSC research related projects here. If you would like an account, please be sure to register using your UCSC e-mail address. If you would like to register with a non-UCSC address, please e-mail firstname.lastname@example.org in advance, explaining your affiliation with UCSC and your reason for using a non-UCSC e-mail address. Please note that "I don't like to use the UCSC e-mail system" is not a valid reason for granting an exception. If you are a UCSC student, you are required to have and actively check your UCSC e-mail account.
NOTE: This server does NOT support Git! You should use Subversion for your repository.
These are major features of UCSC SlugForge:
Also, please be sure to create and new mailing lists with LOWER CASE names ONLY! Upper case names apparently confuses mailman and cause problems. All existing lists have been forced to lower case.
As of January 17th 2012, this server now supports HTTPS URLs for project pages and also Subversion URLs. If you would like to use HTTPS URLs, please click here.
